Artist Opportunities

Check out opportunities for New England artists at Bromfield Gallery, from juried competitions to visiting artist exhibitions to gallery membership. We review proposals monthly and welcome entries to our yearly competitions.

Contact Gary Duehr, Manager, at info@bromfieldgallery.com if you have any questions.

 WET!

"Wet": damp, dank, moist, soaked. Open to all media, any interpretations. Artists may submit images that explore water, the ocean, tears, rain, storms, eroticism, or a liquid quality (including paint)—in any style from realistic to abstract. Have fun! Submit artwork that provokes, challenges, illuminates!

New England artists only. Submission by online jpgs. Selected artwork must be dropped off and picked up in person; no shipping. All work must be for sale and ready to hang on the wall. No restrictions on size. 50% gallery commission. Minimum sale price: $500. Artwork must represent the jpgs submitted online, and, if framed, look professional: no clip frames or plexi boxes.

$35 for up to 3 images. Juried by a committee of Bromfield Gallery artists.

Deadline for online submissions: Thursday, June 13, 2019 by midnight.

Please prepare carefully; no revisions are permitted after submission is complete. If possible, make the longest side no bigger than 1200 pixels, or 16 inches at 72 dpi. You may condense the jpgs as medium quality.

Visiting Artist Program

We accept proposals for both solo and group exhibitions in each of our three galleries.

Solo Competition

The annual SOLO competition awards two solo exhibitions, all gallery expenses paid, to two New England artists who have not previously had a solo show in a commercial gallery.

Winter Works Competition

"Winter Works" is a salon-style group exhibition held at Bromfield Gallery every winter during the holiday season.
