Artists may apply to show at Bromfield as a Visiting Artist, in one of
our special exhibitions such as 12x12, or they may apply for membership
as a Gallery Artist.
Bromfield Gallery is a cooperative gallery. The process for each begins with a review of images and supporting material, submitted either online or postal. There is no charge for applying.
Bromfield Gallery seeks 2D work
12" x 12" or smaller including frame (the frame is optional),
with sale price of $500 or less for its annual holiday show, juried by Bromfield
artists. Artists are paid a 50% commission.
The exhibition runs Dec. 2–19.
The entry fee is $10 each piece, 3 for $25 (no limit to # of pieces you may submit).
Bring work to Bromfield on Sunday, Nov 29 only, from noon to 2 p.m. Work must be ready to hang with all hardware included. Frames are optional.
Included artists will be announced online on Monday, Nov 30; unselected work needs to be picked up Wed, Dec. 2, between 12-5. Unsold artwork in the exhibition will be picked up Saturday, Dec. 19 at 5 pm.
We accept proposals for both solo and group exhibitions. We ask artists to submit the following:
Submissions are reviewed on an ongoing basis. We do not accept submissions by email or artist website. After a favorable review, we ask the artist to bring in 3 to 5 pieces of work.
Artists may also ask to be considered for gallery membership.
Gallery rental (I, II or III): Starting at $700, depending on which space and which month. Contact Gallery Manager for available slots.
Bromfield sends out press releases and postcards, in addition to a gallery ad and listing in Art New England. Exhibit information is also posted on Bromfield's website. Visiting Artists receive 300 cards for their own use.
The gallery will help install the show with the visiting artist. Visiting artists receive a 50% commission on sales.
